Pingcharm uses account and device identifiers, subscription status, and your style preferences to provide the app. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we may receive the name or email address that you share through that service. We do not receive your payment card details.
When you request replies from a screenshot, the app sends a resized copy of that screenshot to Pingcharm's servers. We send it to an AI provider to generate suggestions. Conversation text you submit for replies is processed in the same way. Pingcharm does not keep a server-side history of submitted screenshots or conversation text. AI providers process requests under their own data retention policies.
The Pingcharm keyboard requires "Full Access" to generate replies from a conversation. When you request a reply, conversation text or a screenshot you submit may be sent to Pingcharm's servers and an AI provider. Only use this feature with content you intend to submit for reply generation.
We collect app usage, crash, and install attribution events to understand how the app works and improve it. These events may be associated with an account or device identifier.
Pingcharm uses the following third-party services to deliver its functionality:
- AI processing providers receive submitted screenshots or conversation text to generate reply suggestions.
- RevenueCat for subscription management.
- Firebase for authentication and crash reporting.
- Mixpanel for product analytics, AppsFlyer for install attribution, and Loops for account email when provided.
Each provider processes the information needed for its service under its own privacy policy.
We share information with the providers above to operate the app and measure installs. We do not sell your screenshots or conversation content.
Pingcharm does not keep a server-side history of submitted screenshots or conversation text. Generated replies may remain on your device. Account, subscription, and analytics records are kept as needed to operate the service. AI providers have their own retention policies.
You can delete your account from Settings > Delete Account within the app. For questions about your data or a deletion request, contact us at pingcharmapp@gmail.com.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through an app update.
