Pingcharm collects the minimum data needed to function: an anonymous device identifier for account management and your style preferences to personalize replies. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or location.
When you use Pingcharm, screenshots are processed locally for text extraction (OCR). The extracted text is sent to our servers to generate replies and is not stored after the response is returned. We never save, log, or share your conversation content.
The Pingcharm keyboard requires "Full Access" to read on-screen text and generate contextual replies. This access is used exclusively for reply generation. No keystrokes, passwords, or sensitive input are recorded or transmitted.
We use anonymous, aggregated analytics to understand how the app is used (e.g., which features are popular, where users drop off during setup). This data cannot be linked to any individual user.
Pingcharm uses RevenueCat for subscription management and Firebase for crash reporting. These services process limited, anonymized data as described in their respective privacy policies.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Period.
Conversation data is not retained. Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 12 months. Deleting your account removes all associated data from our systems.
You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings > Delete Account within the app. For any privacy questions, contact us at pingcharmapp@gmail.com.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through an app update.
